Night Sky

Being on a board that is about 2.6m x 1m in size this is by far the biggest painting I've ever done. My friend Mario asked me if I would like to paint a night sky which he would then hang over his bed and naturally I said yes! He gave me an A5 printout of an image which he'd like the painting to resemble so I used that as a guideline and after almost 30 hours of work this is what came out. Now that the painting is finished Mario is going to drill about 180 miniscule holes in which he will insert tiny lights which sparkle and fade like stars. I can't wait to see how it looks when he's done that and as soon as I get photos I'll scrap this one, which is only a part of the right half of the painting.
